I had the privilege of beeing the UI/UX Designer and Creative Director at 3DQR for a groundbreaking project unveiled at Hannover Messe 2024. Our collective goal was to enhance the attendee experience by introducing cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) technology.
Operating within a demanding timeline, our team crafted an immersive AR experience featuring a meticulously detailed 3D model of the entire event space. This model served as a dynamic and interactive guide for attendees, offering them a novel way to navigate the vast venue. Leveraging AR capabilities, users could explore various points of interest scattered throughout the fairgrounds, elevating their comprehension and engagement.
Strategically positioned at eight key locations within the exhibition grounds, expansive QR codes were embedded into the flooring. Upon scanning these codes with the "3DQR Plus" app, visitors unlocked captivating augmented reality content, enriching their interaction with the event. Furthermore, the app seamlessly integrated an interactive exhibition map, providing real-time navigation assistance to visitors. Not only did it pinpoint the current location of the QR code, but it also facilitated effortless exploration of the exhibition grounds. A standout feature was the full interactivity of Halls 14-17, empowering visitors to access comprehensive exhibitor details and effortlessly traverse the halls. Should attendees seek out specific companies, the app swiftly guided them, enhancing convenience and discovery.
